After the Hungarian defenders of the Castle of Eger successfully repelled the attacks of the Ottoman army in 1552, the Hungarian wines began to conquer the world. In honor of this historic event, Gyorgy Molnar, the Hungarian Sommelier Champion of 2013, has selected the best wines for the Egervary brand from the historic wine regions of Hungary.
