The Takler family has been in winemaking since the 1700's. The current Winery, founded in 1987, is family owned and operated. In order to grow the finest grapes at the highest quality, high density of the wines (5.000-6.000/hectare) are planted applying modern (low cordon and Guyot) training systems. Very strict yield controls and excellent full ripe grapes harvested by only hands guarantee the superb quality of the wines. Awarded the 2004 "Hungarian Wine Maker of the Year" the rustic wine house and cellar are located just off the Danube River in the hills of the famous Szkeszard wine region. Complimenting the wine cellar is a gothic style sanctuary with superior and deluxe overnight accommodations for weddings, conferences, business and family events.
